IMG_1675The AKA is organized into regional chapters/teams. The AKA’s goal is to establish chapters around Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and the United States. With the establishment of various teams, the AKA will then organize a competitive schedule with each team hosting a competition during the season. At the end of the season there will be a championship. The AKA will keep team and individual standings on its website.

Each chapter will be lead by a volunteer chapter-head whose responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: having kiters sign-up to become AKA members, identifying a coach for the team, organizing weekly in-season practices and hosting competitions. The costs to cover a chapter’s operating costs will come from that team’s AKA membership dues. AKA member dues will also be used to cover the operating costs of the AKA.
