Your support of the AKA is what ensures its current and future success. There are many ways one can support the AKA: volunteer activities, sponsorships and donations.
Volunteer Activities:
Volunteerism starts at the top. All board members and the AKA’s senior management volunteer their time to the organization. Volunteer activities can include running a local chapter, coaching or helping run a competition in your chapter or managing the Kites-Up Program in your area.
Become a Sponsor
If your firm or a firm you know would be interested in sponsorship or advertising opportunities with the AKA, we would welcome an introduction. There are numerous ways sponsors can help the AKA from providing team rash guards to helping us with our needs for competitions ranging from food and beverages for the competitors, to tents for the judges, sound systems, equipment, etc.
We also seek sponsors who will donate kiteboarding equipment to the AKA for its Kites-Up Program. (Please click here to learn more about Kites-Up). The AKA will ensure that our sponsors receive the recognition they deserve for their support.

Donations
As a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, all donations of money, goods and/or services are tax deductible. Upon receipt of a donation, the AKA will provide you a letter acknowledging the value of your donation which you may use for tax deduction purposes.* We welcome donations of “old” but useable kiteboarding equipment which we intend to refurbish and use for the AKA’s Kites-Up Program.
